So I've read a total of 4 books this month so far: Just Listen by Sarah Dessen, Never Bite A Boy On The First Date by Tamara Summers, The Forest of Hands And Teeth by Carrie Ryan and, of course, my very own book The Coven. I must say that The Forest of Hands and Teeth is the most abysmal book I've read this year. I bought it in Christmas 2009 and have never gotten around to reading it until now. I swear, I wish I hadn't read it. It made me so mad that the MC, Mary, was so selfish - why couldn't she just be happy with Travis in the middle of the Zombie Apocalypse? Why didn't she just give up her dream of seeing the ocean? She had a great life! - and it made me seriously angry. Grr.
Anyone else had a bad book this month?

Candy Pop and the Broken Biscuts. Picked it up for a light read-and, completely defying logic, every time she plays the cord B Major, a fairy called Clarence B Major pops up and grants her all her wishes.

Another to add to the list: 'Of Mice and Men' by John Steinbeck. I read it for school, and I. Hated. It. Majorly. So boring, and Curley's Wife's death scene was ABYSMAL. I quote: "...for Lennie had broken her neck." And that's it. :@
But we're analysing the characters, so everytime I read a book, I'm automatically assessing whether the characters are dominant or subservient, and it's annoyign me big time. Stupid English teacher XD
