Touching up stitched images

Hi,
While the Panono has made great strides and improved greatly, in too many cases it will not stitch an error free panorama. It is nice to be able to download the image for editing so that one can try to correct the errors.
However, many error are not correctable in image editing software and those would require that the aligned images are available for masking. Such a format (i.e. layered photoshop file or even a ptGui project file) is common output of stitching software and it is the only way to get tricky errors corrected.
As it stands - since the equirectangular images are often NOT correctable without the images comprising it available in alignment with the stitched image - the purpose of the camera is not served in the end.
Can we please get access to a panoramic image that is easier to edit when necessary?
