I'm Beth. I thought of doing this a few months ago when I first heard of it, but forgot until just now! I used to be an avid reader, but high school pulled me away from reading for fun. I'm hoping this will get me back into it!

I think this is the perfect opportunity to get back into reading for fun, or as in my case, to try new books. I've had The Lord of the Rings trilogy on my shelf for as long as I can remember, but when I tried reading it years ago I couldn't get through it. Now I'm finally picking it back up and trying again!

Hey, I'm Orplejoosm. No, that's not my real name. =)
I'm actually a huge bookworm, but lately, I haven't been very good about keeping up with it. I only set my goal at 2000 pages. I tend to read large chunks of text at a time, but I don't always read every day. Well, maybe this'll help me get back into it. If I meet my goal, I will increase it.
I like to read several books at the same time, and switch off between them. I mostly read science fiction and fantasy, although I will try anything.

Hey there, Orplejoosm! I usually read one book at a time, but that might be because I finish most of my books in one sitting. I tend to read junior fiction, which tends to be a bit shorter, but sometimes I'll read for hours at a time. Right now, reading The Lord of the Rings, I've been occasionally putting it down to read another, shorter one. |
